Bedtime

Last night my little boy that insists on watching Hannah Montana at 10:30 was sound asleep at 8:00! He came home from playing with his cousins, ate a bowl of cereal, drank some milk, asked me to turn out the light and went to sleep! He didn't wake up at all until I woke him up at 6:30! Success! for one anyway...Sweet little G wasn't having any of that! She wanted to play, play, play. So we were up later, but I can't say no to her she is just so sweet! At 3am however I said no all the way till 4. She's such a stinker! Oh well, I can sleep tonight! hopefully!

Question: How do you get your kids to go to bed?

I am not a good one to ask because mine go to bed a certain time every night and they drift off to sleep without a fight. Lucky, I know.

We do all the stuff we said we would never do! HAHAHAHA!

Hunter NEVER slept until he was about 2 1/2. Seriously, a few hours a night was enough for him. Robb and I had some serious sleep deprivation. Luckily the other 2 have been pretty good. Still, to this day, Hunter is wide awake by 6 am. He sleeps like a rock all night though, which we thought would never happen.

At about 7:45 or 8:00, after prayers and story time, all 3 kids lay down in Hunter and Brylie's room and watch a movie for 1/2 an hour and then it's lights out. It works like a charm. We said we would never have a TV in their room or let them watch it to go to sleep, but it settles them down and gets them relaxed enough to sleep.

I have learned to never say never! :)

Yeah I would have to agree with Jenny, C has always went to bed when it was bedtime and has slept through the night since day one, I have been lucky I guess, but I am sure when the second one comes it will be a different story so i shouldnt talk to soon..
