I think that by nature kids think their mom is at times the most wonderful women in the world and other times the most horrible! I think that Carson tells me daily that he hates me, it hurt my feelings at first but now I just say "thats fine, but you are going to listen to me."
It makes me wonder if I ever told my mom I hated her. If I did I'm sorry mom! So my point is that I think that we dont appreciate our moms until we grow up. Until we can see our moms with our children I don't think we really appreciate them. Until I became a mom, I couldn't understand why my mom would go without so that we could have something that we wanted.
So mom thank you so much for all of your sacrifices for your unconditional love and for being such a great mom and now grandma! I love you!

Really? He tells you daily he hates you? I don't know what I would do if my kids told me that daily. I'm sure he doesn't but I would maybe stress to him that hate is such a strong word. Maybe he should just say he is frustrated because I know I frustrate my children daily!!! Good luck and you are a good mommy!!!
It is so true that we don't completely appreciate all that our mom did for us until we take on the role of a mother.
My kids don't always like me either, but I hope they will someday appreciate the discipline I gave them.
